Many people imagine that the technology is that when you search for a word in the search engine, the first page of search results is all about one company. Because there is Information from several channels on any search result page, they are: search engine advertising, search engine columns, information from third-party platforms, the official website of each company. So to achieve this goal, you need to spam on each channel, thence you can achieve the ultimate goal: flooding the whole page.
Search Engine Advertising Spam
Take Baidu as an example. In fact, Baidu has long been preventing its advertising area from being monopolized by one enterprise, so it stipulates that one enterprise can only register one advertising account, for the simple reason that if the advertising area is all dominated by one enterprise, the bidding mechanism will not be formed, and then its advertising revenue will shrink significantly.
where has the policy, where has the strategy. if a business want to place its own ads everywhere, it can advertise by utilizing other companies in its name, or in the name of its branches or even agents. Now there are only five ads per page of Baidu’s search results, and a function in the advertising background called ’shared-presentation setting’, which allows a Baidu advertising account to have two ads in the same advertising area, so theoretically it is possible to achieve the spam of some keyword in its advertising area with three to five advertising accounts it is, as long as you are willing to pay a high price.
Website Natural Ranking Spam
As we all know, there are 10 natural ranking information in the regular search result page. If the search volume of a keyword is not very high, theoretically, a company can let more than one page of its website into the first page of Baidu search results through the optimization and promotion of its wesite. So as to achieve the natural ranking spam. But if the search volume is very high, it is absolutely impossible to achieve spam with merely one website. Alibaba Chinese website is a website considered to do well in natural ranking (it is said that there is a team of more than a dozen people specializing in natural ranking of websites, strength of which general enterprises do not have). In search results of some industrial products keyword, Ali has, at best, 5 pages squeezed into the first page of Baidu. And it was an occurence in the recent two years. Two years ago, the natural ranking rules of Baidu then was that more than one page of information of the same site were not allowed in a search results page. And now this rule has been abolished to make it possible for companies obtain good results by optimizing only one website.
Just like the spam in advertising areas, to fully realize the spam of the enterprise website, you need to build more than one website together, and optimize and promote them targeted at some keyword. Eventually, the spam with 10 natural ranking position will be achieved. But this is only for non-competitive keywords. If a keyword has high search volume, how could Baidu give up the existing bread to others? Its own column occupies multiple natural ranking positions, such as Baidu Knows, Baidu Encyclopedia, Baidu Map, Baidu Wenku, etc., and Baidu also sells part of the natural ranking positions to third-party platforms(such as Huicong.com, 58 Tongcheng.com, etc.) in an annual packet.
Baidu Columns Spam
As mentioned above, if you want to achieve the spam of a entire search results page, you should also take the columns of Baidu into account. Each Baidu column has its own advertising area and content area. The advertising area generally has four space, so it will require multiple advertising accounts to occupy all advertising space. Besides, the vast majority of the content area is not allowed to put any advertising information (such as the name, brand and contact information of the company), so there is basically nothing you can do in the this area. Baidu Knows, a noteworthy column of Baidu, allows Q&A content generated by companies in a self-questioning way, and also allows advertising images flooding around the content since the second half of 2016, which is considered to be the spam of the content. Using Third-party Platforms to Flood the Screen
Some people may notice that, concerning cold keywords, most of the Baidu search result pages are third-party platform information, such as Alibaba, China Supplier Network, 58 Tongcheng, Catch.com, etc.. Some smart third-party platforms will rank their website directories on the first page of Baidu, not specific information about a particular enterprise. Because they have a large number of paying members and need to deliver Baidu traffic to paying members and advertising members as much as possible, while most small third-party platforms mainly attract enterprises to become their members by releasing free information, so as to obtain a large amount of enterprise information, form big data, and then sell it for realizable money. So enterprises still have the opportunity to publish free information on third-party platforms to achieve spam on a cold keyword. If you are interested in, now you can search for "CITIZEN machining software" on Baidu, then you will find that there are seven free information of an ESPRIT company on the first page of Baidu, all from different free platforms. As shown below, in the first six information, besides two from the official website of Citizen, others are all free information released by ESPRIT company.

As for the paid third-party platform, companies still need to do the same as Baidu promotion, advertising and natrual ranking in its internal search engine or catalog table to achieve partial spam.
Vertical and Horizontal Spams
Enthusiastically as we spoke before, they are not yet the essence of spam. Because what we talked above are about individual keywords, only existing in theory. It’s unattainable in reality that we can fully realize spams in advertising space, Baidu columns, natural rankings of enterprise websites, and third-party platforms. This is a goal that can never be reached. Even if it can completed at great cost, the effect is precisely the same as partial spam. Since customers search for a product rather than a brand, they must perfer a few more to compare. they will not firmly choose only one just because information this company flood the whole page. I’d call this kind of search results for a keyword vertical spam. Even if the results on the first three pages are from one business, it is similar to the effects of only three information of this company on the first page. What’s really good is the horizontal spam. That is, no matter what keywords customers search for in an sector, information of a company will always be shown on places such as Baidu ads, corporate websites, third-party platforms and even some columnss of Baidu. This is the goal that our network marketers pursue: horizontal spam.
Beware of Illegal Spam techniques
In my new book "The Quick and Effective Corporate Network Marketing" mentioned a real case, a small company did a bid for Baidu advertisements and installed illegal malware code on its own website. When visitors searched on Baidu, click on the ads and visit its website, their computer were attacked and browsers manipulated. The normal search results page just now was quietly replaced with a pre-prepared imitation search results page, and the content was all about enterprise. In this way, it is indeed easy to achieve screen spams, but also illegal. And search engines emtremely hate this behavior, because visitors can no longer see other ads, and then the search engine advertising revenue will be less. Once the search engine found such code instally by a business website, it will halt the advertising cooperation, and will mark this site with illegal code in all natural search results, recommending not to visit the site. This is what is called the loss outweighs the gain.
